About The Book

Silencing the Acquiescence of Abuse

Where do you begin to silence that voice wanting to take away your strength, your hope and your desire for a better life? How do you rise above the shackles that have tried to hold you captive? How do you ease the pain, feelings of regret, shame and even guilt for giving yourself to the one person you believed felt the same way you did?Where does the motivation come from to move forward and live the life that God has promised in His word? Can I actually expect better for my life?
Does God honestly care?
Does God really Love me?
Do I really matter to Him?
If you have ever suffered any type of abuse, you may have asked many of these questions; you may not have asked it verbally, but it may have shown up in your behavior or your attitude. Pain, failure and rejection sends us on an arduous journey to find answers to the “Why’s”. Why did this happen? Why me?Often, we ignore the “warning signs” because we think things will change or just somehow get better! This book is about a journey through the healing process and the transitions to becoming an “Overcomer”. It is spiritually-based and anyone going through the process can find healing to “Overcome” the transitions from Victim to Survivor.May you be Richly Blessed, in Jesus Name!
